Character Development : As a lead/Senior artist, I helped develop monster characters from scratch. Each monster had different skill/power and our tech team wanted to make rigging process as simple as possible by using limited body shapes. 

After 2D sketches were done, I rendered a few designs in 2D, provided a turnaround for a 3D artist's to start modeling. (3D models all done by Debbie Kim)



Other than 3D style, we also developed flat 2D style as well to see how they would look and feel. 



Style Exploration : I also was able to provide 4 different art styles. There were 8 different styles we were trying to achieve, so while I was mentoring 2 artists to do 4 other styles, I was able to come up with the other 4 styles. 

 


Gameplay Prototype Concepts : My another task was to help prototype team with backgrounds, matchable pieces, and some layouts. I provided them not only art assets but worked with them to solve visual issues.



Map Exploration : As prototype was being developed, I also helped with map design/style to help our team to visualize what kind of map would be working well with our game. Starting from node map to a bigger concept phase that shows overall world concept.
